Stop Accepting 2nd Place

When a man tells you he doesn’t want to be with you, listen!! Sounds easy enough right? Well for some it isn’t, I have been there before so I know.

When you hear those words and you continue on as if your relationship isn’t over, you align yourself to play second. Second is only good when it comes to winning a medal. Never is it good in a relationship stand point.

Tell me how content could it be playing Girlfriend #2?

Personal I’ve done that and I told myself it doesn’t bother me, while in my head I was wondering why I could never be the ONLY lady in his life? I had to come to terms with two things, if he wanted me to be he would’ve made it so. Two: that I allow this to happen. But not sharing my attentions I accepted the late night calls, the never going out on dates and so forth.

I get it, we all go through this and then we grow tired. So for future reference listen when a man talks, really hear what he is saying. Stop accepting second place. Either you the only one, or you nothing at all.
